7 Days to Die
If you want to experience a realistic zombie survival game, I definitely recommend 7 Days to Die for you. The game covers the shortcomings of other productions in the same genre, but we can't say that it has no shortcomings itself. For example, it is quite behind graphically; you can tell this from up close and from afar, but thanks to the abundance and variety of craftable items in the game, this can be overlooked.
I must definitely say that surviving is harder than similar games (Minecraft, DayZ). You can build your house and craft the needed items just like in Minecraft, and these are not overly complex. Similarly, just like in DayZ, you can roam the map and battle zombies or humans. 7 Days to Die lets you check if the zombie you kill has any loot on them, which is a much-desired and necessary feature. I hope this sets an example for some developers who failed to include it.
7 Days to Die is truly a game where you will probably die within 7 days, or even get tired of dying. If you learn from your deaths and play accordingly, it becomes a little harder to die, but never impossible, because the zombie hordes that come at certain intervals and humans chasing you when they see you make the game much harder but also more enjoyable.
You may want to enter any house and repair its broken door or windows to pass the night, but zombies will definitely find you, so be prepared for action and horror day and night. You are never completely safe or fully survived; you only extended the amount of time until you die. Once you understand this, 7 Days to Die turns into a more enjoyable game—so if you don’t like dying or being killed, this game is not for you. By the way, there is also multiplayer in the game, so you can join with a few friends and extend your survival time, making the experience more fun.
