Among Us - Review
AMONG US
Among Us, which has managed to become one of the most talked about games of recent times, will be our topic today. Let's see what this game is, what awaits us inside, and what we can do to play better. In general, Among Us is a party game that becomes more enjoyable when played with friends. Because playing with people who don't know the game can drive you crazy or at least you have a high chance of encountering some cheaters. Let's put all that aside, killing your friend and creating chaos or solving this chaos like a real detective and saving everyone is much more fun than doing these with strangers.
Our game can be played with at least four and at most ten people. Before entering the lobby, you can change your name as you wish. In the lobby, you can change your appearance and, if you are the host, set the game settings. You can play with one, two, or even three impostors (there are also those who call them traitors, in-game they are called impostors). The game randomly selects who will be the impostor at the start, and only the impostors know each other; crewmates see everyone as crewmates. In short, there is an unknown, and to solve it, the impostors must kill people until the number of crewmates is at least equal to their own number (for example, if it remains 1-1, the impostor wins since the impostor cannot be ejected via voting), or the crewmates must complete their tasks. Even if they are dead, they should still do their tasks to help the living win.
Let's talk about the tasks, there are no particularly difficult tasks, all are simple. For example; connecting wires according to their colors, swiping a card, downloading and uploading files. Crewmates can win by doing all these and similar tasks, another way they can win is by finding the impostor among them and ejecting him/her via voting. If you're wondering how the voting phase starts: either a dead body must be found and reported, or you must hit the emergency button in the cafeteria to gather everyone and talk. Those who don't want to vote can skip their vote that round.
Currently, there are three maps in the game, each with its unique play styles. Some have different tasks, in some you can use the vents differently. Everyone is hooked on this game these days, but for some reason, only one map is played. The other maps are also a lot of fun so go and try out everything this game offers. While playing with your friends, keep in mind that there is no strict gameplay in this game, the game is how you want it to be. Set your own rules, create your own fun. If you say 'what can I do?' and can't find ideas, there are many different play styles on YouTube; you can watch them and create a brand new style with your own crew.
Finally, I can only say this. ''Red is always sus!''
