Changing the Feature of the Samsung Bixby Button

Hello friends, in this article I will talk about how Samsung users, especially those using S8 and later models, can assign different tasks to the Bixby button on their phones and how they can make the Bixby button more functional.

Even though it has been 3 years since Bixby was released, it still does not support Turkish voice commands, and many Samsung users do not even use the Bixby feature. As one of the non-users, I decided to change this button and customize it to control songs while listening to music on the phone.

To customize our Bixby button, first click here and install the application we need to install from Google Play. (The name of the program: Button Mapper)

When we first open the program, it will ask you to grant permission to the application from the installed services section. After granting permission to the application, select the one that says "Bixby Button" and change the button as you wish.

You can use this application not only to change the Bixby button but also to change all other physical buttons.

I use the settings you see above and I use the Bixby button for purposes such as skipping to the next song, going to the previous song, or stopping the song.

Note: If your phone is not a rooted device, the volume up and down buttons will not perform the assigned task when the screen is off. This issue does not apply to the Bixby button; the Bixby button works in any case.

From within the application, you can also change many things such as in which applications the buttons you have changed will work normally or as you wish.
