Fatih Project Restriction Removal

Hello friends, in this post I will explain how you can remove the restriction on the tablets provided within the scope of the Fatih Project.

You need to download the ROM suitable for your device using the links above. The ROMs above are shared by the Ministry of National Education and are completely safe.

Restriction Removal Process

If we have downloaded the necessary files, let's move on to the restriction removal / ROM installation process step by step.

  1. We extract the downloaded file from the RAR archive.
  2. We turn off our tablet and turn it on in Recovery mode.
    1. We turn off our tablet.
    2. We press the Volume Up (Vol+) and Power buttons at the same time.
    3. When the General Mobile (Brand) logo appears, we release our fingers.
    4. It will open in recovery mode. If it does not open in recovery mode, repeat these steps until it does.
  3. We connect our tablet to the computer with a USB cable.
    1. When you connect your tablet's USB cable to your computer, Windows 8 and higher operating systems will automatically recognize your device.
    2. If your computer does not automatically recognize the tablet, install the tablet driver located in the "usb_driver" folder in the downloaded file by selecting the one suitable for your operating system.
    3. "androidwinusb86" -> 32 Bit
    4. "androidwinusb64" -> 64 bit
    5. Now your computer will start to see your tablet.
  4. We install the ROM onto our tablet using the ThinkerDownloader program.
    1. Enter the folder called "frimware_update_pctool".
    2. Open the "thinkerdownloader" program.
    3. Click the "File Find" button and select the file with the largest size and which is also a zip file among the files we extracted from the RAR. (For ETab4 Side Charging, its name starts with "fatihVE...")
    4. From the tablet section displayed below, click the "Firmware Update" button.
    5. When it reaches 100, it means the ROM has been installed on your tablet.
  5. Reset your tablet again using the method in step 2 to enter recovery mode.
    1. If options to reset in recovery mode do not appear, press the Volume Down (Vol-) and Power buttons.
  6. On ETab-4 Side Charging devices, after performing a reset in recovery mode, you also need to perform a reset from the settings.

The above procedures were carried out on the ETab4 Side Charging device, but you can also install ROMs and remove restrictions on other devices using the same methods.

Note: On ETab4 Side Charging devices, after applying the above steps, you need to reset the system from the settings. 

If you do not reset from the settings, the new ROM may not take effect and the device may continue as before, or the MDM screen may continue to appear.

After the ROM installation, after performing a reset in Recovery Mode, make sure to also reset through the Settings.
