Idle Slayer
Hello gamers, today I will talk to you about the Idle Slayer game, which I have played for weeks. This game is neither fully an idle game nor a hack and slash game—in fact, I couldn’t put it in a category myself. To briefly summarize, over time you kill your enemies, collect gold, and with the gold you save, you strengthen your equipment to earn more money, but of course, it's not that simple.
Your equipment increases the amount of gold you earn per second, and when you upgrade them to certain levels, you can change their appearance and the amount of gps (gold per second) they give increases. By purchasing certain upgrades, you make more enemies or more gold appear. You can obtain timed power-ups from luck boxes. If you come across a special luck box, you can travel to a special world and you're asked to collect orbs within the given time, if you succeed, you are rewarded with gold. Killing monsters gives you souls, and with these souls, you gain permanent features. These features really improve the gameplay and your enjoyment. The prestige system found in most games is also present here, but when you prestige, you only gain an increase in gps proportionate to the amount of souls you earn. Also, you can spend the souls you collect between two prestiges to get perks. So, you can only use the souls you gain after a prestige when you do the next prestige.
The gameplay mechanics are really very simple. The character is always walking, if you have unlocked the running feature, you can run for certain periods. You can jump, and if you have unlocked the arrow shooting feature, you can shoot arrows. If you have unlocked minions with the souls you have earned, you can send them on missions for extra souls. After waiting for certain periods, you can open portals to travel to other worlds. The worlds are really beautifully designed visually and are filled with all sorts of monsters, which can also evolve. Finally, there is also a quest system—like killing 500 worms and such—if you accomplish these, features you can buy are unlocked.
In short, Idle Slayer is a game that does not contain too many things, but still contains more detail than necessary. If you ask me whether it is worth playing for months, I would say no, but it is enough to cheer up a bad day or a bad week.
I have always been someone who loves to try new games. Every new game has been a tool for me to journey into the imagination of people I do not know. Even if a game is bad, if it is in a playable state, like me, you can give games or people a chance. Games you do not expect can teach you things.
