Nidhogg
Don't look at the graphics and say "Is this even a game, why should I play this?" because behind those graphics are specially composed music, simplified combat for more fun, and different level designs. Nidhogg might not be so great on your own, but you can have a lot of fun with a friend or your partner. Be careful, don't let your relationships suffer because this game inspires a lot of ambition.
To fight each other you'll use your sword, and if you've thrown your sword you'll have to fight with your hands. The mechanics are very simple; for example, there's jumping, ducking, rolling, and striking. You can kill your opponent with three different sword stances: holding the sword at the top, bottom, or middle. When someone dies, their colors spread on the ground and stay there throughout the game. Your only goal in the game is to reach the very end of the opponent's side. While doing this, you witness relentless battles, funny situations, and some unfortunate moments countless times.
No matter what, this two-dimensional production is perfect for having a fun time with your friends at night. I definitely recommend this game, which is full of ambition and laughter.
