Power Drill Massacre - Review
Power Drill Massacre
Power Drill Massacre, which is a remake of Minotaur, one of the first Puppet Combo games, is a survival horror game released in 2015. In summary, in 1987, the character we play as, Megan, and her boyfriend Jeff, have a very bad car accident. Since Jeff is trapped in the car, Megan sets out to get help. After walking a bit, Megan sees a factory and decides to go inside to ask for help, but there is also a killer in the factory who uses a drill. As soon as Megan enters the factory, the doors lock and she becomes trapped inside with the killer. Inside the factory, there are articles and notes related to other missing victims that can be read but do not affect gameplay.
There are two ways to escape the factory or finish the game. In the first, you find three keys of different colors and open the necessary door, then you start walking, and after a certain point, the killer starts chasing you, making you run desperately and never stop. Eventually, the long corridor you run down turns white and the game ends. In the second, instead of finding the keys, the player descends into a maze called the sugar tunnel, and if the right path is found within the maze, you can reach the place thought to be where the killer lives and examine the items there. However, after some time, the door closes and locks, and some time later, the killer starts chasing you in a very small area. When caught, the player is placed in a cage, but the killer starts making sounds as if trying to talk to you. An ending soundtrack cuts in, and when the music ends, the killer attacks Megan.
