Tomb Raider - Review

Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider

If you say Lara Croft for this game, I guess no one would question why. Lara is an archaeologist who wants to be like her father, and she is very enthusiastic and fearless about it. I won't tell her story in this article, but there are a few things I need to say first; This game was really made to be the best of its time. From character development to modeling, from voice acting to atmosphere—in short, in every way. Without further ado, let's get started.

Tomb Raider

Lara Croft, who is just 21 years old, will learn how to survive on an island throughout the game, solve all kinds of mysteries, overcome different puzzles, and of course kill bad guys. We are faced with a Lara whose psychology and character change as she kills and spends more time on the island, so be sure to compare the Lara you start with and the one you see at the end of the game as much as you can—you will really find big differences. Considering what she goes through during the story, you might even say the girl endured it all very well.

Tomb Raider

Lara earns experience points for most things she does on the island, which she then spends at camps to unlock specific features and upgrades. My advice to you is to unlock the collecting features because you will need to gather a lot for improving your weapons. Speaking of weapons, let's talk about them. At first you'll have your bow and arrow, and over time you'll get your gun, machine gun, shotgun—in short, you'll have enough weapons and you'll need to upgrade them. There are many types of upgrades and these truly add to your strength. Don't forget to distribute these upgrades and skill points wisely to avoid difficulties in the later stages of the game.

Tomb Raider

One way or another, you will finish the main story of Tomb Raider anyway, but my advice is to continue and explore the island before or after finishing the game. Roam around this island with different adventures at every corner. Look at the unique landscapes and be enchanted by the beauty of Lara Croft. I think you will enjoy this game, which progresses almost like a movie, immensely. Before I end my writing, I want to give one last warning. It contains extreme violence, brutality, horror (whichever word you like best). Let me put it this way, you will see this beautiful girl's head smashed with a huge rock, metal piercing through her stomach, even her head getting cut off. Play the game knowing this; if you are sensitive, first watch its videos on YouTube and then make your own decision. If you ask me, although some parts are really shocking, the game is good, I am okay seeing everything and I recommend it.

My score for the game: 🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮
