When it comes to Puzzle Platform games, the Trine series is always at the top for most people. Its gameplay, graphics, environment, and many other features distinguish and beautify this game from others in its genre. Just like the first game of the series was loved, the second was loved just as much and is still played fondly by players.
In our game, there are three characters, and you try to solve puzzles or get out of situations successfully by switching between these three characters depending on the puzzle or situation. Now, what can these three characters do, who are they? The first is Pontius, who is our melee character and with whom we can also break and smash certain objects. The second is Zoya. With this character, who has special arrows and a grapple rope, we can go anywhere we want, and she will be used more in times requiring stealth. Our third character is Amadeus. Every team needs a wizard, and he is exactly that; using his magic, he helps you by creating magical boxes and assists you in completing many puzzles.
Another nice thing about our game, which has very comfortable and easy gameplay, is that you can upgrade your characters' skills. To do this, you need to collect the magical bottles scattered around the environment. For a true game over in Trine 2, all your characters must die; if only one or two die, it's not game over, and when you die, you start from the last checkpoint. From the creature drawings to the characters and atmosphere, every part is detailed and shows a lot of effort. You also notice this while listening to its music. In addition, there is multiplayer support, so up to 3 friends can join the game and each control a different character to progress through the levels.
In the end, there's nothing left to say. The only thing we can say is thank you to Frozenbyte, the developer of Trine 2, for bringing us such a beautiful production. If you're wondering why we're thanking them, it's simply because, when most game companies have a huge hit with their first game, they ruin the sequels, and we're so used to disappointment.
