What is Desktop Meadow?
If you are someone who is bored with the classic desktop look and want to liven up your desktop a bit more, and at the same time don’t want your computer to be heavily loaded while doing so, the program I will talk about in this article is just for you. The name of our program is Desktop Meadow.Meadow is a program developed based on the idea of imagining your computer’s folders and taskbar as a field.
It adds many tiny elements found in a field to these places on your desktop, and it turns your desktop into an environment as if it were a hill/meadow.
Flowers and birds start to appear on your desktop, and a mailbox is also added. At regular intervals, you receive automatic messages from the program’s developer, and by replying to these messages, you can start a conversation with the developer.
Also, with the latest update, I guess the developer received quite a lot of messages through that system, so he connected the people using the system to each other, and now users can be matched randomly and send messages to one another.
It is a very fun application and makes your desktop look very stylish. While providing this stylish look to you, it doesn’t interfere with the system at all and uses a very low amount of RAM.
It uses about 50MB of RAM, and when you play games or open any program on the desktop, this RAM usage drops even further.
Since the program is currently in the development stage, you might occasionally encounter a few issues, but if you like such small designs, I definitely think you will love this program.
One of the errors I experienced was that this meadow area—or should I call it terrain?—was shifting a bit lower than its usual position.

Desktop Meadow currently only works on Windows systems.
