What is LTS?

LTS: is the abbreviation for "Long Term Support"; in Turkish it can be translated as a long-term supported version.

If a program or software has a version labeled LTS, I recommend using the LTS version.

In addition to receiving long-term support, LTS versions are also the main versions. Non-LTS versions are intermediate versions, and compared to LTS, they receive many more updates and contain many more bugs.
Generally, we see the concept of LTS in Linux distributions, so make sure to install the LTS system when installing a Linux operating system on your system. It will receive updates for a longer period and be more secure.
