What is Pi Network?
What is Pi Network?
Hello friends, in this post I will talk about Pi Coin. Let's take a look together at what Pi Coin, a different virtual currency like Bitcoin but quite different and requiring no hardware at all, is.
How Do I Become a Member of Pi?
What is Pi?
According to the official Pi website's explanation;
"Pi is a new crypto asset created based on the Stellar platform."
To simplify, you can think of Pi as being similar to Bitcoin.
How Does Pi Work? Is There an End?
Like other virtual currencies, Pi works with a mining system, but it does not require high-end systems; after downloading the Pi app, you start earning. Every 24 hours, you enter the system to activate mining and mine pi. You can do this via phone or computer, and clicking the mining button once a day is enough.
To increase your mining speed, you need to invite new users to Pi Network, and you already can't directly open an account in Pi Network, someone needs to invite you.
As with many other virtual currencies, Pi also has a halving situation. When the number of members reaches each new power of 10, the amount of pi you earn is halved, and in this way, it is planned to protect the market value of the Pi currency in the coming period and to increase its value day by day.
Does Pi Exhaust the Device?
No, definitely not, since Pi Network does not perform real mining on your device. You don't even need to keep the app open to mine; it's just necessary to log into the app every 24 hours and give the mining command. Actually, this is done for the pi system to see that you are active. Inactive users cannot mine, and in a sense, it prevents Pi from losing its value for no reason in the future.
What Are the Roles?
There are 3 roles on Pi: pioneer, contributor, and ambassador.
Pioneer: This is the role that earns pi at a rate of 0.10/pi per hour, and as long as you are a member and active, you continually earn pi in this role.
Contributor: This is the role we call the security circle, where you add people you trust, and as these people remain active, your earning speed increases. To obtain this role, you must be active for at least 3 consecutive days.
Ambassador: You gain this role by inviting new people, and your earning rate increases with every new person you invite. Of course, the important thing here is that the people you invite must remain continually active.
Node: This is the role that runs the Pi mining software on hardware such as computers to secure the Pi blockchain.
