What is Processing?

 Processing is an open-source programming language and integrated development environment, sometimes seen as an electronic sketchbook, used by digital art and visual design communities to teach the basics of programming with a visual approach.

Processing was started to be developed on top of Java in 2001 by Casey Reas and Benjamin Fry and has a simpler graphics programming model and syntax for computers.

Processing is a coding language that can run on Windows, Linux, and Mac devices and makes programming something visual (such as designing interfaces...) quite simple. This language has a very powerful development page, and on this page, you can see and review a lot of projects.

I can say that it is a programming language where beginners can improve themselves by coding on it. One of its best features is that you can use Processing together with Arduino, and you can do this in quite simple ways.

You can visit the official Processing website by clicking here. When you download it, you don't need to install anything; just extract it from the zip file, put it wherever you want, and start using it with processing.exe.
