What is Unix?
UNIX is an operating system written in the C programming language at the end of the 1960s. It was created by Brain Kernighan and members of the MULTICS team.Of course, although it was first created by Brain Kernighan and the Multics team, it was later developed by many companies and organizations.
Unix has been used on many systems, from personal home computers to supercomputers.
Unix - OS
When Unix first appeared, it was a command-line based operating system. However, in addition to the command line, it also had a graphical interface like X-Windows.The X-Windows interface is actually a visual interface similar to the Windows 98 operating system, perhaps some users have used it.
Unix-Based Operating Systems
Although Unix is an operating system, this operating system has been used commercially and developed. As a result of these developments, some new operating systems have emerged.
