Malicious persons on the Internet are generally those who want to take over your system with viruses.Even though the term hacker is often used to describe malicious people on the Internet, in fact,
the literal meaning of hacker is someone who understands computers at an advanced level.
In general, hacker is a term that is misused in our country. Not everyone who is malicious
is a hacker.
Hackers; are people who deal professionally and are experienced in many fields such as computers, hardware, and programming languages, and they determine for themselves
in which direction they will use their skills in this field.
That is why we classify hackers into many groups, let’s talk about some of them.
• White Hat Hackers: Generally, their purpose is not malicious, that is,
they do exactly the opposite of what I mentioned above. These people are generally responsible for the
security of users, companies, banks, and governments in fields such as cyber
security.
• Hacktivists: This group generally resorts to hacking to correct injustices
and mistakes they see in the world. For example, if a hacktivist sees that a bank is
not paying pensions to retirees, that hacktivist may hack (take over) the bank’s system and ensure retirees get their payments.
• Black Hat Hackers: These are the hackers that fall into the group of malicious people I mentioned first.
Their main goals are activities like stealing data,
bank robberies, or taking over systems.
• Gray Hat Hackers: Nothing definitive can be said about this type...
In general, they do as they please, sometimes being good and sometimes bad. It completely
depends on their own conscience.
• Software Pirates: Generally, their business is to crack paid software and games,
insert viruses into them, and share them with people for free.
They are the group that carries out what is called cracking.
• Phreakers: This group generally attacks communication networks, such as by copying phone lines, and if your phone is being tapped by someone, most likely
the person listening to you is a phreaker.
• Script Kiddies: People who aspire to be hackers who, with minimal knowledge, try to do something and are constantly improving themselves, the hackers of the future. Generally, they set up fake sites and send emails. They can defend themselves on a simple, basically beginner, level. They can be good or bad; it all depends on their future personality.
• Lamers: Lamers are the disgrace of hackers. They think they are something and can be seen everywhere.
They have zero (0) knowledge and they wander around claiming they will hack your Facebook
or shut down your Instagram... Of course, they rarely accomplish anything.
