Apex Legends
The new game from Respawn Entertainment, developer of Titanfall, Apex Legends made a swift entrance, bringing fresh air to battle royale games. In this free-to-play game, you can only purchase cosmetic items by spending money.
First of all, there is no solo in this game; you can always join the battle in three-person teams. In my opinion, the reason for this is the very low survival chance when you are left alone. When you first start the game, you can play with only 6 out of 8 characters. The remaining 2 (Caustic, Mirage) can be unlocked with in-game currency that you earn as you play. If you want to play those two characters and don't want to wait, you can also buy in-game currency with real money. However, as far as I have seen, none of the characters have a feature that gives them superiority over the others. Because each has 3 unique abilities. You can find the abilities and introduction videos for all characters in the rest of this article.

The number of weapons and characters is sufficient, but it's obvious that new ones will be added over time. Considering dozens of customization options unique to each, I can say that they've integrated personalization beautifully into the game.

Even though you give warnings and act carefully, one or even two members of your team may die. In this case, you need to go to the box that contains your friend's loot, take their banner and use the respawn beacons placed at certain points on the map. When your team member is revived, they return to the game as if starting new, i.e., without equipment. Therefore, you may need to give them one of your weapons or accompany them to the place where they died to collect their old equipment.

If we tried to explain all the new dynamics and features that this game brings to battle royale games one by one, we'd never finish. You can discover new things as you play. Music, graphics, and gameplay, in short, I absolutely loved this game. I also see the chosen game engine as a very correct choice. Not only me, it seems millions also agree: in just one week, over 25 million players have played the game, and this number increases every day. With its fast and unique gameplay, it has captured the hearts of millions. It is clear from every aspect that this game came to claim the throne of the battle royale genre, so even though I don't particularly like the genre, I can say in one word: Loved it".
CHARACTERS
Bangalore
- Passive: Double Time - Sprint speed increases when taking damage.
- Tactical: Smoke Launcher - Launches a smoke grenade.
- Ultimate: Rolling Thunder - Calls in a mortar strike on a marked area.
Bloodhound
- Passive: Tracker - Can track enemy movements via footprints left in the last minute.
- Tactical: Eye of the Allfather - Can see all footprints and enemies in the area, even through walls.
- Ultimate: Beast of the Hunt - Increases movement speed; sees surroundings in black and white and enemies in red.
Caustic
- Passive: Nox Vision - Can see enemies inside his own toxic gas.
- Tactical: Nox Gas Trap - Places six toxic gas bombs which are triggered by being shot or by proximity of enemies.
- Ultimate: Nox Gas Grenade - Throws a toxic gas grenade.
Gibraltar
- Passive: Gun Shield - Forms a shield in front when aiming down sights.
- Tactical: Dome of Protection - Creates a dome-shaped shield, lasts 15 seconds.
- Ultimate: Defensive Bombardment - Calls in an airstrike on the marked area.
Lifeline
- Passive: Combat Medic - Uses health items faster, revives friends faster, placing a shield in front while reviving.
- Tactical: D.O.C. Heal Drone - The drone heals nearby teammates.
- Ultimate: Care Package - Calls a drop pod; acquires three high-quality items for themself or teammates.
Mirage
- Passive: Encore! - Leaves a decoy and becomes invisible for 5 seconds when downed.
- Tactical: Psycho Out - Creates a decoy that runs in the targeted direction to confuse enemies.
- Ultimate: Vanishing Act - Creates many decoys around and becomes invisible.
Pathfinder
- Passive: Insider Knowledge - Reveals the location of the next ring.
- Tactical: Grappling Hook - Rapidly traverses distances, grabs enemies, or climbs buildings via grappling hook.
- Ultimate: Zipline Gun - Sets up a zipline that anyone can use.
Wraith
- Passive: Voices From the Void - Audibly informs about an impending danger.
- Tactical: Into the Void - Transforms into moving smoke and cannot take damage in this form.
- Ultimate: Dimensional Rift - Opens two portals; anyone can use them.
