Linux Penguin Tux
Tux is a cute penguin whose belly is full of fish. Tux is happy with his life and represents Linux.He was designed by Larry Weing in 1996.
TUX is thought to come from (T)orvalds (U)ni(X) but there has been no official statement about this.
It is also thought that it comes from "Tuxedo" since penguins can be reminiscent of wearing a suit.
Over time, TUX has surpassed Linux and has become the symbol of open source projects and started to represent the GNU project.
