Our main character in the game is Vito Scaletta. After committing a robbery with his friend Joe Barbaro when he was young, Joe escapes but our Vito gets caught. He has two choices: either go to jail or become a soldier and go to war. Vito decides to go to war. During the war, we learn the controls and dynamics of the game, it acts as a kind of tutorial.

     Because he gets injured, he is discharged and sent back to his city, Empire Bay. After losing his father, Vito takes on his family's debts, but since he has no money to pay them, he returns to a life of crime with his friend Joe. Thus, he slowly starts to enter the world of the mafia.

     The game dynamics, weapons, sounds, and similar elements are nice, the story itself is extremely good but short. After about halfway through the game, you will start to notice you are doing the same things. It won't give you the same great feeling as at the beginning, but Empire Bay will feel like a living, breathing city to you. You begin to think that the people around you really have lives.

     There are plenty of period-appropriate automobiles and weapons in the game. If you see a Playboy magazine, don’t forget to pick it up, it shows you small surprises. But it does not affect the course of the game, and if you don’t want to collect them (if you’re a good kid), you can skip them all.

    In short, the game wins us over by its story alone. This game, which opens up and narrates that universe for us beautifully, will captivate you with each moment. Sometimes it may start to feel heavy, you might get bored—don’t try to rush it, enjoy the experience. You’ll already start pondering and speculating in the final scene.
