Metin2 Server Installation Files

Hello friends, in this article, I will talk about the download links of the files required to install a Metin2 server and what they are used for, happy reading.

Clean Metin2

This is the cleanest version of Metin2 with no modifications, and its structure is from 2012. It is the most suitable version when setting up your own server to upload your own pack files.

Eter

This is a program that allows you to open, edit, and repackage the files in the pack of the Metin2 server you installed.

Atak Server

This program allows you to manage the server, give items to players, and ban users.

Portmap 1.6

It is a program that simply opens the required ports when you launch the server so your friends and others can join the server.

Putty

It is a helper control program that enables you to connect to the server remotely.

FreeBSD

This is the operating system required to set up the server.

Full Client

This is the pack that should be used and modified for users to join after you set up the server.

Game&DB

The database and the server itself.

Heidy SQL

The program we will use for tasks such as editing the database or creating users. Normally, Navicat is used, but since it's paid and I don't like using pirated software, I use Heidy SQL instead of Navicat.

Hamachi

There are 2 ways to set up a server: 1. Static IP, 2. Hamachi. If your internet does not have a static IP address, you can get a static IP with the Hamachi program.

VirtualBox

The program that allows us to install the operating system for the server in a virtual environment.

Filezilla

The program we use to transfer Game and DB data to virtual or remote computers.

Registration Panel

The web panel that allows users to register on the server.
