This time I want to show you one of my favorite games in the platformer genre. Outland tells us that art is for games, and with its graphics, special effects, and music, it takes us away from our world and brings us into the backdrop of its own world. Outland, which fascinated me with its use of colors and even the way colors are integrated into the game, seems to be much more than a platformer and a production that everyone can enjoy.

 We fight and solve puzzles using the red and blue colors. This mechanic makes it so that when you switch to blue, you are not damaged by blue enemies, but you can't damage them either. It's the same for red; you can only attack opposing colors. You need strong reflexes while playing and also must be careful. Patience is your most important skill in this game. You will spend minutes trying to get through some puzzles, but if you die from a small mistake, you will have to start over. Some boss fights are really tough, but since the controls are easy and nice, even these fights are enjoyable. Of course, this applies to players like me who enjoy challenging games. If you are impatient, Outland is not for you.

 Outland is one of the rare works that truly deserves the patience you show. Considering that most of the games released by major game companies today are empty inside, we need to hold on tight to and support such games. Otherwise, as the number of games made for players decreases, only those made purely for money will increase. Hoping that games will be regarded as works of art, see you in another review.
