It has become one of the legendary turn-based strategy games. There are many maps and countries in the game. Each country has its own unique bonuses, and playing with the country that best fits your playstyle is a lot of fun. 

   There is a technology tree that advances from the ancient ages to beyond our present age. There are many branches you can choose culturally, and you can select 3 different ideologies in the later stages of the game. When you try to make agreements or talk with other nations, you hear sentences in their own languages, and that's impressive. "Great people" can appear from your cities and these are people who can disrupt the balance. Land types are all different, some cannot have farms built, and some can only have trading posts built.

   There are 5 different victory types;

- Domination Victory: By erasing other players from the map, by dominating them.

- Science Victory: You need to build a spaceship.

- Cultural Victory: By filling 25 policies and completing the utopia project.

- Diplomatic Victory: You must have more delegates than other countries.

- Time Victory: The player with the highest score when the set time runs out wins.

   You should found your cities in the right places and properly work the land tiles around them. You should build roads between your cities, otherwise your workers and soldiers will move slowly. You need to trade, keep good relations with city-states, and beware of barbarians. 

   I can't finish explaining the game because it's a very detailed game; you can get used to it and learn by playing. You can download mods from the workshop when you get bored.
