The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Review

Skyrim

Skyrim

Some people loved it for its moddability, some said it was beautiful even in its raw form, but there was only one thing everyone agreed on: the game was very close to perfect. When the first videos were released, everyone got excited. And our excitement was not in vain; Bethesda did what it does best and brought us a legend. Of course, countless bugs appeared over time (some were really funny), but whatever happened, Skyrim took a place in the heart of every gamer.

The only thing that upset me in the game was that I wish I could see a stronger impact of joining either the rebels, the Stormcloaks, or the Imperials in Skyrim. It gave me the feeling that only the names change, but the quests are the same.

Since the races have their own unique traits, it's helpful to think about and create the character you want to play. Some races are suitable for being archers, others for being mages or warriors, but of course, you can turn these into different classes with various weapons. Actually, there is no class in Skyrim, and since it has a flexible structure, if you wield a bow and arrow, you are an archer, if you take spells in your hands, you are a mage, etc. But whatever weapon, skill, or armor you use more often, the perks in that will get stronger.

We said there are no classes in Skyrim, but there is one most important point and the only subject we can't be flexible about. We are a "Dragonborn", in dragon tongue "Dragon Hunter Child", a mortal born with the blood and soul of a dragon. This means we can speak the dragon language and learn new words by absorbing dragon souls. And these words are already powerful ones, so just saying that word or sentence in dragon tongue can make meteors rain from the sky.

It has creatures that grow stronger with us. If your fight with a monster in a cave early in the game was neither too hard nor too easy, it will be the same—not too hard, not too easy—after you have leveled up and become stronger.

Dragon fights may seem easier than you expect, because they are. Nobody wants to believe that a gigantic dragon can be killed so simply, but as I mentioned above, we are Dragonborn, not a regular citizen or soldier, so this can be excused.

I plan to continue to write about Skyrim in other topics as I find time, because it's such a big world. Separate headings are needed for its races, bugs, story, and more. But before I end my article, my final advice to you is that the people of Skyrim love their "Chickens" more than they love you.
