Torchlight 2 is a production that was (and still is, in my opinion) very loved and appreciated in its year. Due to both the simplicity of its interface at the start and during gameplay, and sometimes the incredible variety of items and many other reasons, it has been and continues to be loved. As you start the game, just as we expect from a classic RPG, the character creation screen appears. You can select your gender and change a few physical details (seriously, just a few - unfortunately, there aren’t many options here). There are 4 classes: Berserker, Engineer, Outlander, Embermage. Let’s talk about them a little. Berserker: A durable melee character. Engineer: With your hammer in hand, you can do everything, build robots or dive straight into enemies yourself, it’s up to you. Outlander: The ranged class using all kinds of firearms. Embermage: As the name suggests, our mage class. After choosing your class, you enter your name and then you need to select a pet, yes, you have a companion that follows you throughout the game.

     Your pet can carry your items for you, sell them, and even buy and bring items you want. It can even use magic scrolls. You can also equip it with three items to increase its stats. So what kinds of pets are there? Let's see: Hawk, wolf, cat, panther, bulldog, ferret, chakawary (small dinosaur), papillon (toy dog). As far as I know, there are no advantages over one another, so just choose whichever one you like the look of and let it start following you.

     Of course, in the game you have skills and potions, and you have 10 slots to place them. You can lay out any skill or potion as you wish. Health and mana are found on the left and right of the slots when you start the game. The red one is your health (on the left), the blue one is your mana (on the right). As for its maps: they are large enough and full of detail; you will also notice it is full of adventures. By the way, there are breakable objects on the map like pots; break them without mercy. Money and items may drop, they might even send you on a new adventure. There are fishing spots at certain points on the map. You can feed your pet with the fish you catch, and sometimes the fish you catch can grant new abilities to your pet.

     We can increase and unlock our stats and skills as we kill monsters and gain xp and fame. The number of armors and weapons you’ll wear while killing monsters is so high that sometimes you might not be able to decide. If you want to wear the right items, you’ll have to do your research, because this part of the game is also detailed. While trying to find items, don’t jump at every chest; there might be guards protecting it, or maybe even the chest is protecting itself, so be careful. But you don’t need to be overly afraid; the game isn’t hard, you can play comfortably. Don’t forget to do side quests along with your main quest while playing. If someone on the map wants to give you a task, complete it too and they’ll send you off with a nice reward.

     There are also NPCs who can upgrade your items. These NPCs, who randomly add different attributes to your items (weapons-armor), can’t do too much upgrading if they’re in town, but if you find them outside the city, they can make more advanced upgrades to your items. And when killing monsters with this beautifully upgraded weapon, you also want the sounds to be nice, don’t you? Don’t worry, Torchlight 2 will impress you in terms of sound, graphics, effects, and many more aspects, and its music is wonderful. The game itself is a masterpiece. Torchlight 2 is waiting for you to discover it.
