In telecommunications, 4G is the fourth generation wireless phone technology. It is the continuation of the 3G and 2G standards. Like other telecommunication standards, it uses a cellular network system and is expected to solve some problems, especially the coverage issues that emerged in the third generation.
Connection speed is 100 Mbps on mobile phones and 1Gbps on Wi-Fi networks. It also has the same bandwidth as wimaxband.

On August 17, 2009, the first 4G test was conducted by Verizon, one of the world’s leading telecommunication companies. The test between Boston and Seattle in the USA was successfully completed.
