What is 5G?

5th Generation Mobile Telecommunication Service;
is the next generation wireless phone technology. It provides data transmission speed approximately 10 times that of the fourth generation technology. It is envisaged by the International Telecommunication Union and the European Union to be completed and put into use by 2020. A speed record was broken in a test environment by Samsung. In November 2016, Samsung announced that, in collaboration with the China Mobile Research Institute (CMRI), they successfully completed the first 5G pilot trial. In a statement made by BTK, it was stated that Turkey is trying to adapt to 5G studies and that Turkey will be one of the first countries to use 5G.
