What is AdSense?


AdSense is an ad publishing tool by Google that allows websites to add advertisements to their sites.
What distinguishes AdSense from other advertising companies/tools is that it is backed by Google and pays really well compared to other ad companies.

Additionally, AdSense offers various payment methods.

  • They can send you a check to your home.
  • They can make payments to your bank or credit card.
  • You can receive payments via EFT-transfer methods.
  • You can receive payments with your IBAN number.
Note: You cannot withdraw your money until the amount accumulated in your account reaches 200 TL.

Of course, even though it is this good, getting your site approved by AdSense is a bit harder compared to other companies.
Although it can earn you good amounts, they don't approve every site. In this post, I’ll give some suggestions about your site's content and a few other site-related recommendations so that you can add AdSense to your site.


Why AdSense?


The biggest answer to the question Why AdSense is that it is backed by Google, doesn't delay payments, and provides dual-sided earnings. 
It is advantageous for both the advertiser and the publisher.

How to Add AdSense?

To add AdSense to your site, first click here and create an AdSense account on the opened page.
After creating your account, add your site. If you are a blogger user, go to the "Earnings" section and activate AdSense.

If your site is approved, AdSense ads will appear on your site.


How Does the AdSense Approval Process Work?


AdSense has 2 approval systems. 
In the first approval, your account is approved, and in the second stage, your site is approved. 
No ads will appear and you won't have any earnings until you receive approval in both stages.

The first approval generally takes about one week, but I can't provide an exact time for the second approval.
My site received the second approval in 13 days.

AdSense Not Getting Approved - Getting Rejected

There can be many reasons why AdSense doesn't approve your site; I will list them below.
  • Insufficient Content: Having too little content on your blog or website will prevent your site from being approved by AdSense.
  • Copied Content: A site that includes content copied from other sites or blogs, in other words, copy-pasted or stolen content, will not be approved by AdSense.
  • Very New Site: Your site must be at least 6 months old to get approved by AdSense.
  • Inappropriate Content: +18 sites or sites that publish pirated software will not be approved for ads by AdSense.
  • Sites Not Complying with AdSense Policies: If you have a site or blog that does not comply with what is written here, it will not be approved by AdSense, so AdSense ads will not appear on your site.
If your site contains even one of the above conditions, it will not be approved.

What Should I Do to Get AdSense Approval?

In this part of the post, I’ll mention a few things you can do to add AdSense to your site. 
I will also list these as above.
  • Quality Content: To get easy approval from AdSense, your content needs to be high quality. Don't even apply to AdSense with sloppy articles or content. If your content is quality, you will get approval from AdSense very easily.
  • Content Quantity: AdSense doesn’t like sites with little content, so your blog/site needs to have plenty of content. There should be at least 35-40 pieces of content. This will make getting approved easier.
  • Original Content: AdSense does not like sites that steal other people's work, so your submitted articles need to be unique. You can easily get approval from AdSense with your own written articles.
  • Domain Name: You don't need a domain name to apply to AdSense, but if you use free domain names, your account likely won't even be approved. If you have a domain like www.urhoba.com, it will be considered less likely to be spam, so it will be easier to get approved.
  • Other Ads: If you have applied to AdSense, remove all ads from your site except AdSense. AdSense only allows up to 3 ads on a page, and those 3 ads must be published through AdSense.
  • Privacy Policy, Contact, About Pages: AdSense likes sites that have Privacy Policy, Contact, and About pages. If your site doesn't have these pages, add them immediately. This way, AdSense will approve your site more easily.
  • Site Design - Theme: Having a theme and design on your site that is easy to use will make it easier to get AdSense approval.
  • Fast Site: If your site is very slow, that is, if it loads very slowly, AdSense will mark down your site's accessibility and maybe won't approve your site at all.
