What is HeidiSQL?
HeidiSQL is a free database management tool. This tool, which helps you manage both web databases and also small or rather offline databases such as SQLite, is truly a very powerful data management tool.
In my opinion, it is a much better tool than many paid database management tools like Navicat, SQLyog.
HeidiSQL is free and despite being free, it really offers us a lot of features.
HeidiSQL Features
- There are Linux - Windows - Mac versions available.
- It has both dark and light theme options.
- Completely free.
- Customize the connected database. (Assign tags, give a different name, add to favorites)
- Works quite fast.
- Adding queries is really much more comfortable compared to other management tools, you can add queries by drag and drop.
- You can execute your query visually or by code.
- Has a simple interface
- Appeals to both advanced and beginner level users.
