What is XAMPP?
What is XAMPP?
XAMPP is one of the programs that should be used especially by those who are interested in web design, or more precisely, those who want to prepare advanced websites.XAMPP is a software that combines systems standardized for web servers such as PHP, MariaDB, MySQL, Perl, Apache and allows us to automatically install them on our personal computer.
What is XAMPP Used For?
As I wrote above in the introduction, with XAMPP, we install a lot of systems on our computer and these systems are useful to us in many ways. For example, with Apache we can run codes like .htaccess, with PHP we can run codes in the PHP programming language you know, and with the php+html combination, you can design beautiful sites and perform data exchange, and at the same time give your site nice link styles with the .htaccess structure. Thus, you can test the sites you wrote on your home computer without paying money for a real server.
Usually, XAMPP is used to set up test servers, but if you say "I will prepare a browser game on my home computer and play it with my friends," you can also publish browser games using XAMPP.
In fact, XAMPP basically turns your home computer into a web server and what you use this server for is entirely up to you.
